Starting the season at Coors Field is a gift for this stacked lineup from Los Angeles. The addition of the aforementioned Freeman to this Dodgers lineup is mind blowing. There isn’t a weak point in the entire starting lineup, and I am sorry to say this but Colorado really doesn’t stand much chance. Colorado lost shortstop Trevor Story but managed to lure third baseman Kris Bryant from the Giants in free agency. Aside from that, the Rockies remain in rebuild mode and are likely looking at another long season in Denver. The thing about playing at Coors Field is that everyone always has a chance.
If you hit line drives into the outfield, good things will happen. Not only does it have the widest outfield in the league, but it's fences are short and the thin air helps the ball travel. This is a recipe for high-scoring affairs and could be exactly what the Dodgers need to get out to a fast start this year. Julio Urias gets the nod for the Dodgers after a breakout year, and aside from Bryant, there isn’t much to fear from this Rockies lineup. This is an easy one for me, I’ll be sprinkling some on both the Dodgers -1.5 and the Over on the run total as well.
