AAC Championship: Houston vs Cincinnati -10.0

November 30, 2021 @ 4:15 PM

Cincinnati vs Houston

The AAC Championship game will take place this Saturday between the undefeated Cincinnati Bearcats, (12-0) and the 11-1 Houston Cougars. The Bearcats are a big 10.5-point favorite to open, and the over/ under is 53.5 points. Cincinnati is -440 money line, while Houston is +330. Ironically, both of these teams will be leaving the ACC and head to the Big 12 Conference in 2023, or 2024 the latest, but for now they will be focused on the ACC Championship at Nippert Stadium, Ohio. Kickoff is at 4:00 p.m. EST. Houston is #16 in both the AP top 25 Poll, and the Coaches Poll. Cincinnati is #3 in the Top 25 and #4 in the Coaches Poll. If the Bearcats win, they will likely become the first ACC to make it to the NCAA College Football Playoff, but ............

Seattle Seahawks @ Washington +1.0

November 27, 2021 @ 4:14 PM

Seattle Seahawks football

Another line that has seen some massive movement lately with the offshore sportsbooks, Seattle actually opened as 2.5 favorites. The line has since shifted to Washington being favorites, which given the way both teams have been playing seems justified. Washington just marched into Carolina and spoiled Cam Newton’s homecoming, while the Seahawks were outclassed at home by Colt McCoy and the Cardinals. I think getting on the road will actually be good for Seattle, as the boo birds were out with a frustrated Twelfth Man growing more evident. Russell Wilson really looks like he came back too early from his finger injury, and the Seahawks have no semblance of a run game right now. Meanwhile the Washington defense was carved up by .........

Los Angeles Rams @ Green Bay Packers +2.0

Betonline bonus code

Like with so many NFL spreads, this game is all about when you were able to get in. The Packers started the week as two-point favorites over the Rams who are coming off of their bye. But news that came later in the week, as well as a very intimate Zoom call, revealed that quarterback Aaron Rodgers is limping through a fractured toe. There was also some concern over Matthew Stafford being injured, but the quarterback has emerged from the bye without an injury designation. The Rams will be trying to shake off a primetime loss to the 49ers in Week 10, with Stafford throwing two interceptions for the second straight game. The offensive line has been pushed around the last couple of games as Stafford has clearly been under pressure, something .........

Alabama (2) @ Auburn +19.5

November 25, 2021 @ 10:52 AM

college football

This year’s Iron Bowl doesn’t really have the drama or build up of previous years. Auburn has struggled this year, and without quarterback Bo Nix under center, the Tigers lost to South Carolina last week as 7.5 favorites entering the game. TJ Finley, Nix’s replacement, hasn’t been terrible and has a 127.4 passer rating with three touchdowns to zero interceptions. Alabama’s Bryce Young is coming off a record-setting game against Arkansas, where he threw for 559 yards and five touchdowns. Unfortunately for Young, it was overshadowed by a 6 touchdown effort from Ohio State’s CJ Stroud, who is now the favorite for the Heisman over Young. Alabama has had problems with covering big spreads this season, and .........

Iowa (17) @ Nebraska -1.0

Nebraska football

On Friday, we head to the Big Ten where the Hawkeyes head to the Sea of Red in Lincoln, Nebraska to take on the Cornhuskers. Nebraska will be missing its quarterback Adrian Martinez who suffered a shoulder injury last week. Could that have been Martinez’s final game for Nebraska? The quarterback has remained quiet on whether or not he’ll return next season for the COVID eligible fifth year. At this point it seems unlikely Martinez will head to the NFL, so next year could be his last kick at the can. Iowa has had a tumultuous season, and may be one of the most overrated 9-2 teams in the nation. Iowa really hasn’t been challenged this year, and it’s offense is nothing short of dreadful. This line has already ......

New York Giants @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers -11.0

November 21, 2021 @ 5:17 AM

The Giants are getting back to full health and are coming off their bye. Star running back Saquon Barkley will suit up, as well wide receivers Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney. The Giants have been a hard team to read all season and currently sit in last place in the NFC East division. The team they are tied with, the Washington Football Team, pulled off the upset last week and beat the Giants’ opponent for Monday Night Football. Brady and company were rusty coming out of their bye and the defending Super Bowl Champions limped out of Washington licking their wounds. Nose tackle Vita Vea managed to avoid serious injury after being carted off the field. Vea will not be playing on Monday Night, which means Barkley could have a slightly .........

Dallas Cowboys vs Kansas City Chiefs -2.5

November 20, 2021 @ 9:22 AM

Sunday sees a collision between two of the most potent offenses in the NFL, and two teams that are currently among the favorites to take home the Super Bowl. The Cowboys head to Arrowhead Stadium to take on a Chiefs team that we just saw dismantle the Raiders on Monday Night Football. The question everyone has been asking this week: do the Chiefs finally have their mojo back? Dallas avenged their Week 9 loss to the Broncos with a thrashing of the Atlanta Falcons last week. On Friday, we learned that star wide receiver Amari Cooper has hit the reserve COVID-19 list, and will not be playing on Sunday. Luckily for the Cowboys, CeeDee Lamb will suit up after suffering a minor injury last week, and Michael Gallup returned against the Falcons and......

Memphis Tigers vs Houston Cougars (17) -8.5

November 17, 2021 @ 7:59 PM

Memphis Tigers college football

The College Football Playoff Committee bumped Houston up seven spots from 24 to 17 this week, as the Cougars continue to roll through the AAC following a 37-8 thrashing of Temple last week. Houston has now won nine straight games after losing in Week 1 to Texas Tech, and has scored more than 30 points in eight of those nine wins. Memphis on the other hand has stumbled through the season with numerous key injuries, particularly at quarterback. As usual, the Memphis offense has some strong playmakers in wide receiver Calvin Austin and running back Brandon Thomas. Unfortunately for Memphis it is facing a staunch Houston defense that ranked 32nd in yards allowed, 23rd in rushing efficiency, and 49th in third down succession. The one thing .........

Michigan State (7) at Ohio State(5) -19.0

November 17, 2021 @ 8:40 AM

Ohio State NCAA football

For the marquee matchup of the weekend, we head to Columbus, Ohio where the Buckeyes host the Spartans in a crucial Big Ten showdown. For two teams ranked so highly by the College Football Playoff Committee, it is almost surprising to see the Buckeyes as a 19-point favorite. Both teams are 9-1 heading into Week 12, and are on a collision course for the Big Ten Championship game. Michigan State has been fairly dominant in Big Ten play, knocking off rivals like Michigan, Indiana, Nebraska, and Maryland so far this season, with a lone loss to Purdue. Ohio State has been equally as dominant, with only a loss against fourth-ranked Oregon early in the season. The handicap of this game is fairly simple at first glance: can the Spartan offense .........

Los Angeles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers +3.5

November 13, 2021 @ 8:40 AM

San Francisco 49ers stadium

Both of these NFC West rivals are coming off disappointing losses in Week 9. The stats surrounding this game are misleading though: the 49ers have won the past four matchups, but this will be the first time they are getting a taste of Matthew Stafford. The Rams have been busy as of late, trading for all-pro pass rusher Von Miller and signing free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. It is unclear whether either will play this week, but the Rams should have plenty of firepower to handle the 49ers. San Francisco has struggled at home this season, winless in four games so far. The Rams are a perfect 4-0 on the road, and will look to continue that streak in Santa Clara on Monday Night Football. The 49ers love to run the ball, but the Rams .........
