Like with so many NFL spreads, this game is all about when you were able to get in. The Packers started the week as two-point favorites over the Rams who are coming off of their bye. But news that came later in the week, as well as a very intimate Zoom call, revealed that quarterback Aaron Rodgers is limping through a fractured toe. There was also some concern over Matthew Stafford being injured, but the quarterback has emerged from the bye without an injury designation. The Rams will be trying to shake off a primetime loss to the 49ers in Week 10, with Stafford throwing two interceptions for the second straight game. The offensive line has been pushed around the last couple of games as Stafford has clearly been under pressure, something the loss of swiss army knife Robert Woods may be magnifying. Woods often acted as a rushing threat or outlet when Stafford was in trouble. The Packers are coming off a loss to the Vikings, where Rodgers apparently re-aggravated his toe injury. While the Packers are formidable at home, the three point swing seems drastic considering how Rodgers performed last week. We’ll also be watching Odell Beckham Jr., who should play a much larger role in this offense following the bye week. If the Rams offensive line can hold up, then Stafford’s experience playing at Lambeau Field should come into play. Watch this line as it approaches kickoff though, we may see a buy back to the Packers. I don’t think this line will hit 3.0 points in either direction, but at plus odds I’ll take the points with the home team.
