For the third time this season the Cardinals and Rams will face off. Both teams are limping into the playoff as the Rams gave up a 17 point lead and lost to the 49ers. While the Cardinals lost to the Seahawks at home in Week 18. It has been a tale of two seasons for Arizona who looked unbeatable in the first half and have fallen back down to Earth in the stretch run. It follows a trend that head coach Kliff Kingsbury has seen in his first couple of seasons as the Arizona coach. Likewise Sean McVay has been accused of being ‘figured out’ by the end of the season. Quarterback Matthew Stafford just does not seem right after posting a dubious 17 interceptions, most of which came in the second half of the year. This could also factor into defenses figuring out McVay’s schemes. As for Arizona, it hasn’t been announced yet if Deandre Hopkins will be available for the wildcard game, but if he is that gives an immediate boost to a stale defense. Even if he is taken out by Jalen Ramsay it leaves a lot more open space for speedsters like Christian Kirk, and opens up the field for Zach Ertz. Arizona also hopes to have both running backs available with James Conner nursing a heel injury for the past few weeks. This game could go either way really, but the four points is too much for a division that regularly saw upsets, two of which came in Week 18. Take the 4.0 points with Arizona.
