An AFC North matchup between the Ravens and the Steelers, and Pittsburgh finds themselves in unfamiliar territory. The two franchises have dominated the division for a better part of the last two decades, but the Steelers find themselves middling at .500 this season. The offense has been mostly anemic, and the defense has taken a step back. Perhaps most convincingly, the Cincinnati Bengals have emerged as a legitimate contender, and sit one game back of the Ravens in the standings. Those same Bengals just embarrassed Pittsburgh in Cincinnati last week by a score of 41-10, and beat the Ravens in Week 7 by an equally shocking score of 41-17. The Steelers are nearing rock bottom right now in the minds of sports bettors, while the Ravens continue to garner headlines with week after week of dramatic victories. This is absolutely a spot to buy low on Pittsburgh who has traditionally thrived under head coach Mike Tomlin as home underdogs. The Ravens defense has been underwhelming in its own right this season, and while at times he has looked like he did in his MVP season, there have also been games where Lamar Jackson looks completely lost. Last week was one of those games where Lamar had four interceptions against the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football. If he does that again against Pittsburgh, the Ravens will have little chance of victory. At 4.5 points in a divisional matchup in December, I’m taking the points with the Steelers.
