This is really an interesting line between two teams that are trying to rebuild their franchises on the go. Jameis Winston showed his Jeckyl and Hyde nature, with five touchdowns in Week 1 and 2 interceptions and 111 yards passing in Week 2. The total of this game is interesting and I lean to the over as 42.5 is just too much of an overreaction from New Orleans’ abysmal Week 2 performance. Mac Jones has been fine, albeit sheltered by the Patriots, but hey so was Tom Brady when he first came in. The Saints are a wild card and after being away from home for weeks now due to the hurricane, I think the players are suffering some fatigue and exhaustion. It’s a difficult trip back up the East Coast to Foxboro, and it's certainly not an easy building to play in. The status of the New Orleans coaching staff is also up in the air after a late COVID-19 outbreak sidelined most of the staff for Week 2. Their defense is also banged up with Marshon Lattimore still injured after missing Week 2 against the Panthers. I think this whole process has been a lot for the Saints to handle, and my best bet for this game is to lay the points with the Patriots.
