It was a nice return for Kyler Murray who made quick work of the Chicago Bears last week. The Cardinals moved to 10-2 and still don’t seem to be getting respect from oddsmakers. They’re also getting healthier with wide receiver Deandre Hopkins and running back Chase Edmonds looking to get back in the mix. The Rams looked good last week but who doesn’t against the Jaguars? Stafford and company beat down the Jags by a score of 37-7, as the offense really needed a get right game after three straight losses. This week’s opponent is a different story though with the Arizona defense tied for 5th in the NFL in total yards allowed per game, 4th in passing yards allowed, and 4th in third down efficiency. The Rams defense can stop the run, ranking 7th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed, but have been rather pedestrian against the pass, ranking 16th in the league. In these NFC West matchups we can throw out the spread as we have seen numerous underdogs win straight up including the Seahawks last week against San Francisco. I don’t love a side here, especially with the Cardinals already winning the first matchup between these two teams earlier this year. I know it’s in a dome, but my best bet for this game is under 51.5 points. I think this is more of a chess match game than we and the oddsmakers are expecting.
